I think xnview can embed internet explorer inside the gui to view those types of images.. if possible because I have over 8,023 of these types of images, and I'd like to view in a proper image view instead of IE.

I'd appreciate it.

AOL Art files are not supported by XnView, yet.

See topics
- how do i convert .art so i can view them with xnview?
- View .art images?
- Won't open art image files
- AOL art-files

Please use "Search" next time. ;-)

Yes, AOL is a bit special. If you can view the images you can always make screenshots and then save the screenshots. This works very well as long as the whole image fits onto your screen in 100% Zoom.

For taking screenshots you can use
- Windows standard method ("PrtScrn" key for desktop or "Ctrl+PrtScrn" for current window).
- XnView (Tools > Capture Screen).
- MWSnap: Personally I recommend the free MWSnap.
- One of the trillions of other screenshot tools (-> Google)

Both XnView and MWSnap can immediately save the screenshot if desired.
