Sending an unsaved scan via e-mail fails

Hi,

I just discovered an annoying behaviour/bug of xnview (1.82.4, Windows XP SP2): I scanned a picture und tried to send it via e-mail without saving it before. XnView created the new e-mail message (thunderbird 1.5.0.2) but the attached file was corrupted. The name of the file was the name of the temporary directory (moz_mapi) and the file had the following content:

Code: Select all

300: file:///C:/DOKUME~1/Wir/LOKALE~1/Temp/moz_mapi/
200: filename content-length last-modified file-type
201: 14D.tmp.jpg 588116 Sun,%2028%20May%202006%2014:58:14%20GMT FILE
The temp-file of the scan (14D.tmp.jpg) was fine.

best regards,

In version 1.91 the files have the correct content.

But they still lack a file name extension although the checkbox "tranform to JPG if needed" is marked.
