Ok good to hear that it doesn't bundle spyware anymore, since otherwise it is really good program.klumy wrote:I tried Spybot after installing Flashget. It found nothing. So no spyware
Me too, it's easy to use, intuitive, many features - perfect.Aokromes wrote:I like more http://www.freedownloadmanager.org
hello? before you could (OPTIONAL) install flashget with an ad, that's why some say it's adware, but what's wrong with it?ckv wrote:You know... I tried Flashget once, when I was still using 56k modem and I thought, "wow this is great program" until I found out that it installed spyfare crap in my system.
And look here http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/amazes ... esoft.com/
I know that the siteadvisors info is outdated. So it might not contain spyware anymore, but for me, if it once contained spyware it always contains spyware.
i used both fdm and flashget, but now... fdm has no chance compared to flashget since they're both in the same "market"Aokromes wrote:I like more http://www.freedownloadmanager.org

Poor integration with download dialog box of non-IE browsers except Mozilla Firefox (when using the Flashgot Extension or FlashGet Extension(ver 1.72 only).
Unregistered versions contain Cydoor Pop-up ads.
Silently installs FlashGet Toolbar on Internet Explorer and hides itself by default. Avast! Antivirus detects it is adware. The toolbar can be removed and does not affect the FlashGet application.
Note: In version 1.72, the Cydoor ads removed.
yes, cause FDM is much better than FGVuDu wrote:fdm has no chance compared to flashget since they're both in the same "market"
