Caption of a tif file / Improve printing of EPS

is there anybody to answer my questions.... i think there is nobody to help me.... plz help me... i wanted help urgently.....
my first question is how to get the caption of a tif file.....?
and the second one is to how to improve the printing quality of an eps file? i got printout only in 42 dpi..... plz help me.....
