Contact sheet from mpg

Hello
I have a quick question.
Is it possible to make a contact sheet from the thumbnails of a folder of mpg files? If so, how?
I can make contact sheets from folders of photos, but not from folders of video clips, and they would be useful when trying to organise clips.
