Batch features: Resize, Extract EXIF/IPTC/JPG comment

i have a database with 100 000 pics (different sizes) in different folders
is it possible to
a) change the size for every pic in one go and to save them as copies in a another folder
b) to extract the exifdata / iptc / jpegcomments of every pic e. g. in a table or txt-file
