Pasting Office pictures

I have the following problem in the Browser mode:
  • * Open an Excel document that has embedded picture object (this was created by using Insert picture from file)
    * Select the object and copy to clipboard
    * Try to paste it in XNView (Ctrl+Shift+V) -> doesn't work, Import clipboard menu item is actually disabled
I have no problem to paste it in Viewer mode though...
There both Paste and Import Clipboard work.

And if I close the Browser window as well, File->Import clipboard also works.

Is this a bug?
Thanks!

It happens for me consistently, but only in case of copy-pasting from Excel.
I tried with MS Word, but it worked.
I'm not sure why it wouldn't work from Excel, it's really strange. :(

To reproduce:
  • Open Excel (I'm using Office 2003) and Import from file a picture into an empty sheet.
  • Click the picture and select Copy
  • Switch to XnView (which is in Browse mode) and verify that Import clipboard is disabled
