Changing file order in browser

In the browser I can't seem to drag files to change their order in a folder. I find this annoying as I sometimes need to change the order to quickly switch between 2 images to compare. Selecting the files before viewing is not an option since this limits me to 1 pair of images.

Hello !
• You can use
Tools Menu >> Compare. You have to select the files (i.e. as thumb-nails), but you can compare more than two files… and select any ones in the same displayed directory.

I know but that's not useful for me.
I have a series
DVD1-1.jpg
DVD1-2.jpg
DVD1-3.jpg
and
DVD2-1.jpg
DVD2-2.jpg
DVD2-3.jpg
I need to sort these files like this so that they can be compared in fullscreen

You may open all those files in that order to get several windows then switch with Ctrl+Tab (Ctrl+Shift+Tab) for comparison
(but I don't think you can get that in fullscreen).
Otherwise, you can support that
Image basket suggestion.
