Application Font size (Linux)

I just simple can not read the tiny fonts in the xnv browser.
I think i'm at 4 or 6 point font on a 15 inch monitor.
I tried to change the fontsize from 10 to 16 in the xnviewrc file but to no success.
Perhaps, motif is bad?
how to fix?
