Hi,

if I set cache directory to r:\, which is my ram disk, xnview uses the xnview\cache\ directory. It only works, if I create a directory r:\example\ and use this one. Then xnview uses r:\example\cache\

somthing about cache

1. install xnview 1.70.2
2. start xnview by user (no rights to write on directory "program files\xnview") find any picture and xnview crash
3. then in options disable cache and xnview works normally

XnView must use "documents and settings\application data\xnview\cache", isn't it?
maybe it crash in that moment then write to directory "program files\xnview\cache" with no rights on it?
