Hi

I have noticed that reading metadata (I currently use gflLoadIPTC, gflLoadEXIF and gflGetFileInformation) from CR2 files is very slow and cpu-intensive. All of the three functions mentioned are much slower than for JPG

Is this something that can be resolved somehow?

Additional info:
processing 40 JPGs (153 MB) takes about 0.18 seconds
processing the same 40 images as CR2 (274 MB) takes 415 seconds!
