First thanks for a great program. Downloaded it this morning but seem to have the following Problem.
How do I stop paint shop pro jbf files appearing in the thumbnail view.
I have checked that it is not associated and I think I've told it not to load any other programs but pictures.
Any Ideas
Phil

If you want to keep XnView from showing non image files (or non-supported image files like the JBF files) in the browser, you uncheck the checkbox 'All other files' in the options dialog, category 'Browser->File list', panel 'Items shown in thumbnail mode'.
If these files shouldn't appear in other view modes (Icons, Details, and List) either, uncheck the checkbox 'All other files' in the panel 'Items shown in other modes', too.

Thanks for the reply Helmut
But all check boxes in both panels are unchecked and the jbf file is still appearing.

Right, JBF is a format supported by XnView so the thumbnails are shown and cannot be disabled.
Think the 'exclude list' for thumbnails and files has to be more flexible...

Follow up
I have set the hidden attribute for the jbf file and it now does not appear.
Psp 7 seems to accept it in this mode.
This is my temp fix for now.
