Low resolution with D70 NEFs

Hi,
My camera (Nikon D70, firmware v2.00) is set to take a RAW+JPEG image. When I view these in XnView (v1.82.4), the JPEG comes out at full resolution (3000x2000 pixels, aproximately) but the NEF is only at 1500x1000.
Is this a (known?) bug in the software? I can not really find any info about this phenomenon in the camera manual or on the web. Or have I just missed a camera setting?

Do you have option/Read/High resolution?

Yes, I do. 'Use EXIF DPI information if exists' is not checked. None of the other options seem to be related.

Bonsoir, Maître Gougelet!
The link works if you remove the extra dot at the end:

It's very strange, if i enable option/Read/Camera raw/High resolution, this file has a size of 3039x2014 px

Hmmm, not on my computer. The third area in the status bar says 1520x1007x48. Seems strange - is it a 48bit image? I thought it was a 24bit...
Just noticed - if I right-click and select properties, it shows the correct resolution. But the image in the browser window clearly has lower resolution than the jpeg... and if I copy-paste into photoshop, it is also 1500x1000.
I will be going away for a week, so if you need any more input it will have to wait until I get back.

Hi, I am back again.
Now I have noticed that when I double-click the images in the browser so that they open up in a separate window/tab, they are as you say displayed correctly. Did not try that before.
But when viewed in the browser (I have mine set in the mode defined by View/Layout/2nd item), the NEF images are displayed in low resolution. No matter how I change my settings, the behaviour does not change. (But they load faster.

) To make myself clear(er), I single-click an image in the file tree of the browser, and it is displayed incorrectly in a different pane in the same browser window. This is where the bug(?) is located.
I have not tried the newest version yet, still on 1.82.4.
Best Regards,
/Ted

So it was a BDU fault. (Brain-dead user) Sorry about wasting your time and thanks for your help.
I like the program. Keep up the good work!
