Toolbar icons not showing up on start

the toolbar icons in my xnview 1.824 arent showing up whern I start xn view .. although if I mouse over them, the command comes up in the tooltip (but the actual button icon doesn't show)
If I go into options, toolbar, select another skin and click ok, the new skin shows ...
any help on this one please ?

Hello, welcome aboard !
• Which skin are you using when this issue occurs ?
- That never occured here with the default skin…
- However, it's possible that you are using a skin non-updated…
- Please, check in the folder of the programme :
<skins> >> <used_skin_sub_folder> >> Info.txt if you have a line like :
version = 2
- Whether it's missing, the skin is inappropriate for the 1.82.4 version…

using the Mezich skin ...
funny thing is - if I select a folder to browse with xnview - it only happens that time .. if I start the app on it's own - the toolbar icons are there'
wonder if there's something it depends on in windows that is bugging the right click folder action a bit .. any clues on this ?

Good evening,
• Odd, for sure… I tested that skin (I've the right version) and all is OK.
- However, I have not any entry to browse
a folder with XnView in my local RMB menu,
only the Shell extension to open
files…
