i'd like an option to exclude certain file extension from the the thumnails view.

something like: "show thumbs of all picture files except: add extension".

i work with flders containing very heavy .dcm files whose thumnails are rendered very slowly becuse of the huge file size.

the folder also contains other conventional joeg files. so 'id like XnView to show only the jpeg thumbs and not to waste time with the dcm files

Show as icon instead of thumbnail:
Custom files[dcm]- [x][x][ ] [x]
or
Hide from thumbnail view only:
Custom files[dcm]- [ ] [x][-][x]
or
Exclude completely:
Custom files[dcm]- [ ][ ][-][-]

would you plese tell me the path of these options in the user interface?

Options -> Browser -> File list -> Items displayed
