I convert 1280 x 960 jpg file to 640 x 480
with the command:
nconvert -out jpeg -resize 640 480 DSCF0037.jpg
size before env. 330kB , after env. 278 kB

When I convert with Microsoft Photo Editor the size after is env. 80 kB
How obtain this size with nconvert ??

Use -quality (lossy JPG compression)
