hello,

currently fit window to image works very nicely for small images. however for big ones (e.g. photos), window is made of max size, and then scrollbars appear if image still doesnt fit into it. it would be nice that xnview would apply fit image to window in case window can't be fit to image..

what do you think?

I could use this rather than press / to fit manually.
I think it should be optional and not selected by default as it is a deviation from the paradigm that fit window corforms to and doesn't change scale of image.
Perhaps this could be an unchecked Options>Auto Image Size>Fit window to image>Fit images too large.

well it wouldnt change scale at all.. would it?

It would in the sense that the image would be presented shrunk to fit the smaller space of the desktop.

can I hope for this?

can it be moved to 1.9 suggestions?
