Hi,

I dowloaded the XnView-x86-unknown-linux2.x-static-fc4.tgz,
tar xfvz XnView-x86-unknown-linux2.x-static-fc4.tgz
cd XnView-1.70-x86-unknown-linux2.x-static-fc4/bin
then run by typing
./xnview

but I got the following message:

./xnview: error while loading shared libraries: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

My linux version is

Linux 2.6.16-1.2069_FC4smp #1 SMP Tue Mar 28 12:48:20 EST 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Could you help me solve the problem? Also, the xnview donwload site does mention that "this version requires lesstif v0.93.36". I tried to down it through the link provided. The link seems not working right now. Is that the reason that I fail to run xnview in linux?

Any help is appreciated.

XnView works well under Fedora Core.

Pick the RPM version.

libXp.so.6 is provided by libXp-1.0.0 on FC5
libXp.so.6 is provided by xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2 on FC4
