Hello!
I don't know if there is anyone that ever came across this problem..
I mean actually its a very tiny one ;] ..
I made an custom Icon for a folder in Windows XP. I assembled the 48, 32 and 16 pixel images with IconXP from AHA-Soft. And then I do a rightclick on my folder, say Properties, Customize Tab and change Icon. Now If I select my custom Icon everything works properly. In Explorer detail view it uses the 16x16 version, In the change icon Dialog I have the 32x32 and if I create a link to the Desktop I see the 48x48 one. But when I open the folder And press Alt-Tab to switch between applications there I see the 48x48 although the Image is only 32x32 pixels wide.
Why does XP select the 48 image to squeeze it into 32pixels when applying that ico on a folder?? If I apply It on an applycation there is the correct 32pixels image as well.
