Is it just me or is it a problem in XnView 1.97:
I've tried to add a "Delete" button in View mode to the toolbar. I add "cmd_Delete" and an appropriate icon is shown, but when confirming the options dialog, there's a separator instead of the "Delete" icon. Is there a problem? Can anyone confirm?

I'm the one Helmut was helping with this
It seems if you select an icon from an icon file, all is OK, but it you let it default to the cmd_Delete icon (the red "X") then somewhere the command gets lost and your new button appears as a seperator. If you then view the toolbar customisation you can see that the button added now has a blank where cmd_Delete should be

Re: 1.97: Cannot add 'Delete' button in toolbar

• Hi !
• I can confirm, the cmd_Delete command is not available in View mode. It's in browser though, I added it with a standalone *.ICO, it works.
- The deleted file goes into the Recycle Bin with that command.

Hi!
But I have it in View mode!

It works, too. I just deleted an image in View mode using that button to verify that it does indeed work.

Indeed, it does work but ONLY if you specify an icon to go with the command. You can't seem to use the regular little red cross that "comes with" cmd_Delete
