Sorting problem in xnview

I can't explain it, because it makes no sense. It is happening with 1.97.8 and also happened with 1.96.
Here is the picture to show what's happening.



Notice after 61...
It's set to sort by "name (numeric)", because "name" does number orders all weird like sorting this sequence:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12
as:
1 10 11 12 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

I appreciate you posting links to threads, but they aren't about my issue. I already stated in my original post that I use "name (numeric)" because the alternative did what almost all those links you sent were talking about. So obviously I knew about that difference, I was just stating that this happened in "name (numeric)" and why so nobody would post the option of trying the "name" option.

That being said, my issue has to do with the image in my first post. Which has not been addressed at all in any of the threads you linked to.
