Thanks, Pierre!
I just had a quick toy with Changing Timestamps and it seems to work fine for me.

I noticed that beta3 has the same slide.exe file as beta2, did you forget to update it?

just gonna add that the mousewheel tab switching should also loop around when when it reaches either end of the opened tabs. And also mwheel down/up and the direction of switching is still working in the opposite direction, I dunno maybe you hadn't changed it.

Another annoying thing with XnView that I hope would ideally be fixed by now is it resetting the window position when you goto next/prev file.

Its highly annoying when you open an image, move xnview titlebar location, and then change image while in the same xnview instance, and it resets position. There should be an option to have xnview lock and keep its window position, but still open the next file resizing as it would normaly to current desktop res, !even if that means the image goes off the monitor.. afteral I did move the xnview position, another option to center window would be good too.

so to recap, I have by default [fit image to desktop, large only].. but when using mousewheel to flick through even smaller than desktop res images, it shouldn't be reseting them too the center of the desktop if I have moved the xnview window position.

I'm pretty sure this option doesn't exist, and perhaps it has its own thread topic already.. I can't remember :)

The only problem I can found for the moment about this is :
The IPTC field (Ctrl+i): "Misc." tab \ "Original transmission reference" is not updated if "Update or Create XMP" is checked.
Thanks for this new beta3 Pierre (especially about the "Quick Slide Show" info text "blinking" problem).
Like as, What has created the Universe (... including Humans) is an Universal Heritage, all that has been created by Men "through this Creator" must be at least a Human Heritage !
