Space to tag/untag file also in fullscreen
Could you add another hotkey to tag/untag a file? Space, also in Viewer and both fullscreen modes?
Just add one option here: "Options > Keyb./Mouse > Space"
I know language files are out, but perhaps you could use existing items.
If too late, what about at least...
Alt+Space, or Insert (ic you can use it, it's near to page up/down).
V 1.90 <x>

Space is already used for many things, so perhaps Alt+Space, you don't like T/Ctrl+T??Dreamer wrote:Could you add another hotkey to tag/untag a file? Space, also in Viewer and both fullscreen modes?

I already don't like T and M being used. I'm hoping for type-to-find like explorer has in the future, and bare letters disrupt that. (I already spent a couple of confused minutes trying to figure out why T didn't jump to files that start with T.) So space is another disruption.
Then again, since the type-to-find feature is already somewhat broken from those, maybe it needs to be moved behind a hotkey, like / on mozilla. Then you'll free up all the letters. Less discoverable, though.

Sorry, I misunderstood.xnview wrote:Start is used to start/stop animated fileDreamer wrote:I didn't know about T, but Ctrl+T is not very handy...
Since Space can be used in Browser, it would be logical and intuitive if it would be availible also in fullscreen, as option.
What about <Insert>?
@foxyshadis
Really, <T> is used to tag a file in browser, it's not good IMO.
I suggest these hotkeys to tag files (in browser, viewer and fullscreen):
- Insert (if nor possible, CTRL+T)
- Space, as option
Why? Tag feature works like Select feature in file managers, all users know hotkeys Insert and Space, so it would be intuitive and handy for selecting lot of files.
Ctrl+T looks clear (T=Tag), but it's really uncomfortable, just try to tag 20 or more files.
Sorry I'm so late with "tagging" suggestions.

Thanks Pierre, what about T, Ctrl+T? Are these shortcuts needed? We don't use also F in browser because of conflict with "type-to-find", so why T? It shoud be removed in browser IMO.
I still think Space to tag in fullscreen (as option) would be useful, if not possible to add it to 1.90, perhaps later.
What other users think?

Right for "T", so "insert" will be addedDreamer wrote:Thanks Pierre, what about T, Ctrl+T? Are these shortcuts needed? We don't use also F in browser because of conflict with "type-to-find", so why T? It shoud be removed in browser IMO.

Will you completly remove T? I think 3 shortcuts are enough (Insert, Ctrl+T and Space - in browser and fullscreen as option later...).xnview wrote:Right for "T", so "insert" will be addedDreamer wrote:Thanks Pierre, what about T, Ctrl+T?
