still about "use alpha channel" option

This feature works great, but in browser mode thumbnails are still shown with "use alpha channel" option on.
Is it a bug or thumbnails also have separate "use alpha channel" option?

II must add an option, currently thumbnails use "use transparent index"

But "use transparent index" option is for images with <=8bit, isn't it? For giffs and things like that, I think...
In my case all images with different transparency - giff-s, tiff-s, psd-s - shown in thumbnails with transparent background.
