"Show Information I" in View Mode

I think this posting will be a mixture of "bug report" and "Suggestion" (or maybe my misunderstanding ?):

F12 - Options - Fullscreen offers the option "Show information" with a lot of possibilities. Until now I thought this feature is only available in "Fullscreen" - but it is also available in "View Mode" via context Menu or "I".

Conclusion:
in the configuration-dialogue should be more info that the user can better understand where this info will appear.

It would also be nice if the "show information" flag
would be remembered the next time
one starts xnview again.
