when browsing through folders each folder can be expanded by selecting the "+", if there are no more sub folder then there is no "+".
This is correct for local drives but network drives always have a "+" on the folder even when there is no more sub folders.
examples
Local drive ...
Network drive ...
if there are no sub folders then there should be no indication that there is. At worst the "+" should disappear when the folder is selected and the browser finds there is no more sub folders.
This happens in versions 1.82.4 and 1.90 beta 3.
Thanks

What you are asking might make XnView even slower with UNC paths or mapped drives.
XnView's tree handling should remain the same as Windows Explorer's.
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8Ghz, 16Gb DDR4, RX6600XT with Dell U2520D at 2560x1440@60Hz scaling 125%
Win11 x64 24H2, Hard Disk Sentinel Pro, MS PowerToys, Process Lasso Pro and Wintoys
I didn't realize that this was fixed for XnView 1.96 until now. But when I use CheckNetFolder in XnView 1.96 I don't get the '+' on any folder and the folder tree is unusable??
