Paint plugin - resolution problems

Post by rockstar1707 »

I'm using XnView on a laptop with the resolution 1920×1200 pixels and NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120 M graphic card.

However, when I open a picture with the Paint plugin, i got some "defects" on the upper left corner, as shown on the screenshot attached below.

I'm wandering if this is the problem of graphic card, or is has to do something with the Plugin. I tried Paint on a standard PC, with the resolution 1280×1024 pixels, and it worked OK.

Otherwise the plugin works ok, just the screen is a bit scrambled.

You have this problem even if you are in fit window?

I don't know exactly what do you mean.

If this refers to zoom inside of Paint plugin window, than the answer is yes. The same "scrambled" screen appears even if I choose "Fit to window" or some other zoom in.

If you minimize and restore the window, you have always this problem?

Do you use standard DPI (96) for the screen or something like 'big font'?

Fonts are normal size, but it's true that the DPI is set to 120. Maybe this could be the problem than.

Hi Pierre

I have had exactly the same problem ever since you introduced the paint plugin.

Great, in version 1.91.3 this is fixed :)

Thank you very much for such a fast "intervention" :)

BTW, great program.
