Batch-print to plotfile?

Post by Peter2 »

I want to print a lot of raster-files (TIF, JPG, ..) to HPGL-Plotfiles which have the same file-name as the raster-files.

Example:

Code: Select all

1-2-3.tif -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> 1-2-3.plt
test.jpg -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> test.plt
Is it possible to do this?

Me again ....

IMHO there are two parts of improvement:

a) new feature "Print to file":
basic feature on nearly all applications (office, cad, ...)

b) "print to file with automatic saving witrh the file-name":
Functions in CAD, in PDFCreator, ....

That is important for users which have to print one serie of files with systemtic numbers, stored in different data. They take there different data. make a serie of print-files in same format (tif or plt or pdf) and can send a well-sorted set of print-jobs to the printer or the repro-shop:

Code: Select all

1.dwg (cad) -> 1.plt
2.jpg -> 2.plt
3.dsf -> 3.plt
4.tif -> 4.plt
5.dwg -> 5.plt
....
