Rebuild XMP Data cause XnView to crash

Post by roelleke »

Hello,

the use of the function "Rebuild XMP " in the EDIT - Metadata menu cause a complete crash of XnView.
This happens in Windows XP prof. SP3; Windows XP home SP3; and Vista Ultimate SP1.

I noticed a similar XnView crash on my freshly installed Vista system
when trying to "build IPTC from XMP" .
It turned out that I hadn't installed the complete XnView system
(including the XMP plugin's) .
After the full install XnView works as should.

However XnView should not crash when the option
(build IPTC from XMP) is used without the full XnView installation.
