I often experience that after saving (save as) a Tiff for example 123.tiff as a j2k 123.j2k, when I go to the next picture, which is a Tiff 124.tiff, it gets the name of the previous picture, 123.tiff.
Hello,
This option is selected. That's why I get the saved image after "saving as".
My problem is more subtle. It's after getting the "saved as" picture and going to the next picture, which is totally different, that it keeps the same file name.
Or didn't I get something?
You get the next picture from the "saved as" picture. In your example next file after "save as" should be 123.tiff not 124.tiff because 123.tiff comes after 123.j2k.
If you don't like the way it works, unselecting "After 'Save as', change filename" option should do the trick.
I understand that I should get the next picure from the "saved as" picture, and that it should be 123.tiff.
But it's not what is happening: the next picture shown is the 124.tiff and it gets the 123.tiff name.

This is normal.
Sorted by Name & ascending: (.j is before .t) so 123.j2k is before 123.tiff
Then if you save 123.tif as 123.j2k, then 123.j2k is displayed, then the next should be 123.tif, the next: 124.tif...

Indeed you are right. Now I understand what you mean. Picture shown and the filename doesn't match.
