I have tested XnView 1.99 and I have found three drawbacks. I refer to the balancing of the colours. See the window "Adjust", the section "Colour balance" and its three sliding buttons Red/Green/Blue (look at XnView 1.jpg).
1) This is very important.
You must understand that the adjustment of the colours is a ticklish operation that requires a fine-tuning. But the fields Red/Green/Blue are too narrow. Using the mouse, a fine-tuning is difficult to get as the adjustment may easily jump for example from 10 to 17.
Therefore I beg you to enlarge those three fields. Enlarging them twice might be sufficient.
2) This is on average important.
As you can see in the above image, I adjust colours, contrast, brightness etc... looking at the original main image. But the window "Adjust" is too large, it covers too much the image I am changing.
Therefore I beg you to reduce that window. For example, you could move the commands of that window in the lower belt of the screen.
3) This is the least important.
The words Red/Green/Blue might be shown in a better way. Look at XnView 2.jpg. I find it more clear, more complete, more intuitive.
I hope you will soon apply my three requests.

If i enlarge RGB slider, the dialog will be bigger.Giampy wrote: 2) This is on average important.

If i reduce the dialog, the preview will be too small
