It would be nice if you could view true 32-bit PNG's with alpha. Maybe have the background of the view/thumbnail window show through on 32-bit Alpah images.
The black background makes some 32-bit Alpha PNG's look horrible.

Try this. Go to "Options / Read / PNG" Check both checkboxes.
