MP 0.68 rotate won't save

Post by jhumkey »

On both win 7 64bit and macbook air, it seems to rotate 90degrees clockwise, and may even remember to rotate the icon in browse, but though the image appears rotated, it doesn't save. Sometimes have to browse two images away and come back to see the failure. No errors on save. Just move off and back and it's in original orientation.

Even if images were write protected somehow, that should at least give save error.

1. Do you have write rights on that file/partition/share? (most probably yes -but just to be sure) IOW can you create new files/rename/edit files there?

2. Are the file formats editable? What file format do you try to rotate? Can you upload a sample? For example, at least all Raw files are NOT editable, but the program (at least the version which I have) throws a message that it cannot do the command.
