CorelDraw cdr files

Post by Guest »

Hi
I tried to view CorelDraw cdr files but only few of them can be seen
And only as thumbnails
Is it my fault or XnView doesn't open cdr files correctly?
Thanx :)

XnView does not fully support the CDR format, it only shows the embedded thumbnails (preview). If no thumbnail (preview) is embedded, XnView will not show anything. I guess this is why you see thumbnails for some images, but not for other ones.

ST Thumbnails Explorer (www.softfields.com) can view CDR files.
You can try KeyView Pro, iView MediaPro and Canto Cumulus (I don't test them)

Thanx for the suggestion
Anyway none of mentioned above programs can open CorelDraw cdr files
Only (as helmut said) embedded thumbnails if they exist inside

Thanx anyway

As you probably know, Corel Draw drawings are vector images and are proprietary. It's hard to read and draw such formats properly, unless you are the owner/writer of the graphic software and know all details to interprete and render it. This is probably why there is little/no graphic viewer which can really open and show the CDR files.
