Missing EXIF info

Hello,

I just recently updated Xnview MP to 0.99.1 64-bit on Windows 10 Pro 21H1.

On this new install, I'm noticing that the EXIF info isn't showing up on my photos. For example, I have set up the information pane but I see bank info.

I'm seeing a similar issue when looking at the file list (I have some custom labels setup to pull EXIF info) but it's coming up blank:

Is anyone else having the same issue? I've tried a full reinstall and still the same problem. If more info is needed, please let me know!

This is a JPG output (can't attach the original raw file) but it still seems to have the same issue. Please let me know if you need anything else

Yep that's right. I had 0.98.4 installed last and the EXIF info showed up with the same info panel configuration.

I don't have the old exe on my system to confirm but I can recall from memory that it worked for certain.

0.98.4 show the same thing as 0.99, it's because the fields are not written in the good IFD

I'm sorry to bump this thread again but I've taken another look at this issue on my end. I found the older 0.98.4 version and it appears the EXIF info does indeed work:

Note the presence of the camera model and completed exposure info (Aperture, Shutter, and ISO are now properly visible).

Can you please have another look at this? Let me know if you need more info on my end.

OK so I've been playing around with this a bit. Here's what I've found...

The EXIF Tab between both versions matches:

The Info Panel (the way I have it formatted) doesn't match between versions:

The file browser doesn't match - this is where the EXIF info is missing in 0.99.1. Note the missing camera model and ISO info:

While the info is there in the EXIF Tab, it doesn't seem to get passed through to the fields when creating the Thumbnail Labels or the Info Panel. I hope this helps, please let me know if you need more info.
