Wrong ISO on import

Post by toyotadesigner »

macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 (19H1419)
XnView MP MacOSX
Version 0.99.1 64bits (Sep 23 2021)
Libformat version 7.95

Captured several images yesterday. ISO 200 as most of the time. Imported the images and almost got a heart attack: in the thumbnails it showed 51200 ISO. Holy sh*t, I thought I lost a complete day. Checked the camera: ISO 200, not accidentally modified the ISO. Checked the images: all are hi-res. Ran one image through the RAW converter: RAW converter showed correct ISO 200. Then I remembered that my 8 year old camera has a max of 6.400 ISO, no way to select 51200 ISO.

So whay did XnView interpret 200 ISO as 51200 ISO?
