Unknown face detection

Post by cicciobello »

Is it possible to tag a face that Face detection don't recognize?
For example, try with this image.

Yes (I can't think other way). Draw a rectangle around a not recognized face and a new face appear in left column, then I can assign a name.

It seems to work well, great improvement.
Now we can add a region without having to detect the others again.

What about a new checkbox "Do not ask again" for the warning dialog when writing xmp data ?

I encountered a bug on some photos only,
I could not reproduce (sticky regions, and right-left symmetrical regions)

...

Edit
No more bugs:
Bugs were caused by 180°exif rotation on preview (left/right inversion of regions)
With photos thate are not upside down, no more bugs.

Sticky regions were added on 180° wrong rotate images : right click on the thumbnail > delete. Solved.
