0.99.7 Batch Rename: duplicate suffix is always uppercase

Post by Transalpin »

XnView: MP 0.99.7 64bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit

Hello!
When batch-renaming pictures, and selecting a character (letter, not number) as duplicate suffix, it's not possible to get it in lowercase. Of course, I checked Case: "Name and extension lowercase" (and also tried the other options), but the suffix always remains uppercase.

You can see the problem e.g. at the new name "2022-01-02_15-22A.jpg".

Thanks for all the work!

hello,
first of all your program is really useful. Thank you very much for bringing such a program to us.
I was using another program to batch filename rename. It looks like you won't need it anymore thanks to your program. Sorting by EXIF date and renaming is great. However, in batch file name change, the names of files in different formats start from 1. For example, if there are four files named a1.jpg
a2.mov
a3.jpg
a4.mov
when I want to change their names to z, it changes
z_001.jpg
z_002.jpg
z_001.mov
z_002.mov.
This is annoying when chronological order is very important to me.
z_001.jpg
z_002.mov
z_003.jpg
z_004.mov
can we make it like this?I would be very grateful if you could fix this and it would be great.
Thank you.
