XnView: MP 0.99.7 - 64 bit
OS: Mac 64bit
From what I understand the application should activate scrolling mode for the tab bar when there are too many tabs to show, but this is not what I am seeing.
Instead of activating scrolling, the window width is enlarged to accommodate the additional tab. This causes the window to grow in width with any additional tab, making the window wider and wider, even wider than the monitor. The window width cannot be reduced below the tab bar size, meaning that the only way to reduce the window size is to first close some tabs and then shrink it.
This makes the application basically unusable with a large amount of tabs.
Effect: Program window becomes unreasonably wide without the ability to reduce its width.
To reproduce:
1. Open XnView MP
2. Open a large amount of tabs
Actual behaviour (bug): Tab bar increases in width, causing the window to also increase in width.
Expected behaviour: Tab bar does not increase in width and it becomes scrollable instead.
Alternatively, it might be interesting to be able to have the tab bar configurable to be either vertical, or to have multiple rows.
