Save frame (from video) as...

Please add the possibility to save the current frame from the video as a different file name.

Current feature when someone uploads thumbnails/featured images for the videos on sites, YouTube, Vimeo etc.

You have already the engine in the form of „Extract current frame” but this feature is used for catalogging:

Please add in the popup menu above another menu entry saying „Save frame as...” which will take the current frame and open the „Save As...” dialog.

As an additional tooling, in the above picture add on the Playbar (toolbar) another two buttons which will go forward or backward on the time line with 0,4 seconds at each click.

Very useful in order to find the right frame.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.01. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Hello,

The popup menu now allows user to choose „Save frame as...” which takes the current frame and opens the „Save As...” dialog. (Tested with XnViewMP 1.3). Fixed.

It would be useful that the image name include the moment/time of the capture in the video.
