XnView: MP 1.3.1
OS: Windows 64bit (22H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%
Edit XMP form.
Few issues:
A) Items of 'Incert from' / 'Copy Into' have visible fields' internal names.
B) 'Edit History..' and 'Sort Alphabetically' items are missing for some fields.
To reproduce:
1. run clean portable XnViewMP
2. open any image in Viewer mode
3. goto Edit menu → Edit XMP...
Issue A
4. goto 'Description' tab (or other tabs)
5. press black triangle after any field to invoke contect menu
6. goto 'Incert from' OR 'Copy Into' menu options
Actual behaviour:
There are internal names visible in both list.
Expected behaviour:
1. There shall be no internal names visible in both lists.
2. Items in 'Incert from' list shall be diabled if corresponding fields are empty (like in 'Edit IPTC' form)
Issue B
4. goto 'Origin' tab (it can be any tab)
5. press black triangle after some fields (e.g. 'Country') to invoke contect menu
All fields can be affected by this bug, I have not noticed any pattern.
Actual behaviour:
'Edit History..' and 'Sort Alphabetically' items are missing for some fields.
However 'Edit History' form appears when you click on any empty space on form.
Expected behaviour:
'Edit History..' and 'Sort Alphabetically' items should not be missing.

No, xmp name is needed because you have some field with same nameuser0 wrote: Sun Oct 23, 2022 5:48 pm Expected behaviour:

Re: 1.3.1 - Edit XMP - visible internal names / some menu items missing
I'd like to add: xmp field of "XMP FWC" is missing in the "copy to" or "insert from" - I think...

Gerald says thx to all!

if I understand you correctly - this is a feature,Gerald_Ire wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 1:41 pm I'd like to add: xmp field of "XMP FWC" is missing in the "copy to" or "insert from" - I think...
current field is excluded from 'Insert from' and 'Copy into' menu items as there is no reason to do it with the same field

Hi usre0!
Sorry for the last post. This is the wrong part of the GUI. I'm missing the XMP-FW CustomFields in two option of BATCH function. Do a new post...

issue A - not a bug
issue B - fixed in 1.4.0b1, no regression in 1.4.0
