Version on the filename

Postby VuDu » Fri Feb 10, 2006 12:10 am

I suggested that some time ago, but with this recent rush of releases recalled me of it's importance.

In my opinion there's no Cons on having each release with it's version on the filename.

something like xnview-version-format.exe: xnview-v1.8.2-complete.exe or whatever...

what do you think?

I disagree, because many download portals don't want that...
