Preview and file size missing in 'Save As' dialog

In "Save As" dialog it would be nice to have image preview while adjusting JPEG quality (better if independent from "Options") both with file size calculation.

File size calculation is also missing in resize dialogue.

Conclusion: simple task to resize image and reduce file size before sending in e-mail is not very easy to do.

Just thinking:
May be it would be better to add "Adjust" button which opens new enhanced dialogue corresponding to saved file format (disabled for unusual formats or if dialogues not ready)

Displaying a preview and file size when saving lossy formats like JPEG sounds like good suggestions to me. Especially the expected file size is very important when stripping down images for sending via the internet. Often I care for file size, but don't care too much about quality.

The discussion in Smaller image has same file size is a bit related to this topic and might be interesting.

In XnView 1.90 we have the export feature which shows a preview and the expected file size. The Export feature is used via "File > Export...".

So after a long time this one can go to "Resolved bugs & Requests".
