Sorry for my late answer but... i can't reproduce it too.
Now XnView rotates and converts images properly.

Rotation without loosing DPI.
I have pictures with high DPI.
I've noticed if i rotate them with button "losless rotation", xnview change the size of rotated pictures. It is caused by automatic change dpi to 72.
Can i rotate object with DPI default for particular pictrure?
Of course i know that i can choose option via ctrl+u ...
