0.83 Kubuntu 16.04: XnView does not start

Installing XNView MP on an almost prisitne Kubuntu 16.04 gives if I start it via terminal the error:

error while loading shared libraries: libgstapp-0.10.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Installing gstreamer0.10-plugins-base resolved the issue.
