Missing feature: Selection Ratio fixed but still adjustable by user
Hi,
I am missing a feature that is available in the classic version.
I usually trim pictures with xnview to a right size and will often use the "selector fixed" aspect ration 16:9.
In Classic you can select 16:9 but still resize the borders of your selection and trim it to size with ctrl+x.

Re: 1.0 x64 Win - Slide Show always starts on secondary monitor
actually, you are right. I think I can get used to that.
Probably worth thinking about removing the option in the prefs so that others don't fall into the same mind trap. Unless it is not for something else?!
Thanks for helping

Re: 1.0 x64 Win - Slide Show always starts on secondary monitor
I tried it now.
the slide show starts from the monitor where the "slideshow dialog" is currently opened (where you pick the folder and make all the slideshow settings).
It doesn't matter which monitor the application is currently bound to. The option in the settings (use secondary display) is being ...

Re: 1.0 x64 Win - Slide Show always starts on secondary monitor
I can say that it doesn't work for me. One monitor is plugged in via DVI while the second is running on a HDMI port. It doesn't matter which setting is used. It always runs on the second monitor (HDMI port).
It works normally on xnview classic.

1.0 x64 Win - Slide Show always starts on secondary monitor
If I start a slide show it always starts on my secondary monitor. Independent of the setting I made in the preferences. (use dual-monitor)

Hi Pierre,
it is fixed in V1.0. I tested with the Win64bit edition.
Thank you very much.

Re: Slideshow navigation keys
I tried the left right arrows. It is only navigating me to the next random image. I am not able to stay in the same folder.
Basically I am starting the Slide Show in Random Picture mode.
In Classic:
left right arrow: jump to a next random picture in any subfolder

Re: Slideshow navigation keys
I am not sure if I understand.
If I check on the latest versions released, it doesn't work for me. I was also trying out the Beta 3 release and the function is not available.
Maybe a bit more details of what I am doing.
I have quite a huge gallery of pictures with multiple sub in sub folder ...

Slideshow navigation keys
Hi,
I'm missing one feature in the slideshow functionality of MP.
In the classic version, you can navigate the folder of the current-image forward and backward by using the PageUp and PageDown keys.
This works even when setting the slideshow to random mode. This doesn't seem to be available in MP.
