I already stated in my original post that I use "name (numeric)" because the alternative did what almost all those links you sent were talking about. I can't explain it, because it makes no sense. It is happening with 1.97.8 and also happened with 1.96.

It's set to sort by "name (numeric)", because "name" does number orders all weird like ...
