I can't rename a filename if it contains a colon (:) in LInux. For example, if I try to change the name to this:
"2013-12-22 23:50:00 test.jpg" (without the quotes)
then XnView doesn't rename it. There is no error dialog and there's nothing in the stdout/stderr output.
I'm using XnViewMP 0.61 and ...

Re: How open PowerPoint files in PowerPoint?
F3 and "Open with associated program" work now. Apparently the installer for "PowerPoint Viewer 2007" doesn't add an "Open" key to its file association (there were only "Show" and "Print"). To fix this part I added these keys:

@="open"

Re: How open PowerPoint files in PowerPoint?
The problem is on Vista and I use the free PowerPoint Viewer 2007. XnView version 1.96.2. I'm posting my file associations but I don't think that's the problem. PowerPoint starts fine when I double click the file in Windows Explorer but not in XnView. Thus I think the problem is with XnView's ...

Re: 1.96: MultiPage Scanning problem
I've discovered that the problem isn't related to creating a multipage file (tiff/pdf). I see the same problem with PNGs (for example) so the main problem is scanning more than one page from the scanner's ADF.

Re: 1.96: MultiPage Scanning problem
1. I put say 3 pages into the scanner (document feeder)
2. I select 'Acquire into...'
3. Enter 'scan_page_' as a filename
4. I select TIFF (or PDF) and make sure the "Save as Multipage" is checked
and I end-up with,
A. First page is saved as 'scan_page_1'
B. Second (third, etc) pages show up as ...

I see PowerPoint files (*.pps, *.ppt) as thumbnails in XnView (good), but when I double click them they open in XnView. I'd like them to open in PowerPoint. How can I change XnView's settings to do this when I double click on them?
