Being a newbie to XNViewMP, I have spent a lot of time reading all the old posts on the forum, and I have kind of overdosed on all the info.
I am sure that somewhere I read that the alphabetic sort for Favourites was broken.

Tried rebuilding the cache but to no avail.

My layout has the preview pane switched off as I really don't need it.
If I choose another layout with the preview pane switched on, then I see that one of the tabs is for categories and I can change by checking ...
