Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

Would it be possible to convert the Unicode to UTF-8 when using the IlmImf.dll in the Unicode/Wide versions of GFL ? Also, do you have any timescale of when a new version of GFL will be available with OpenEXR support added back in (in case you post a test build here, can you post the 64-bit Wide/Uni...

Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

I had a look at the current GFL DLL's, and previous versions, and it looks like OpenEXR support disappeared after GFL 2.70. I couldn't check 2.80, 2.82, 2.90 or 3.05, but 2.70 has support for IlmImf.dll, but 3.10 and 3.40 don't have support for it. Would it be possible to add OpenEXR support back in...

Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

Just noticed a bug in XnView, OpenEXR is listed twice on the Supported Formats dialog. Also, OpenEXR is not listed on the Plugins dialog, even when installed.

Any chance of a fix for GFL SDK to get it working with EXR images ?

Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

I've just compiled the Win32 C example (provide with GFL SDK), with both VS2005 and VS2010, and copied over all the XnView plugins to the plugins folder, and some of the plugins don't seem to work. For example, 3DSMax and Djvu do work and are listed in the Available formats dialog, but OpenEXR/EXR i...

Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

I think you're correct about it being UTF-8. Is it possible to change the unicode/Wide versions of GFLSDK so that it works correctly with the UTF OpenEXR DLL (and any other plugin DLL's, if possible) - converting between unicode and UTF-8 where necessary. Otherwise it means you have to use the ANSI ...

Re: Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

Can't get it to work. IS the one included in XnConvert x64 a unicode version ?

If not, can you provide an x64 unicode build of it (and for completeness, an x86 unicode build) ?

Native EXR format support or 64-bit plugin ?

Can you add native support for EXR images to GFLSDK, rather than having to use a plugin ?

Alternatively, can you provide a 64-bit version of IlmImf.dll, which works with the 64-bit unicode version of GFLSDK ?

Thanks in advance!

Forget it. Just found out that you need to install msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll.

Re: Does GFLSDK 2.70 support OpenEXR format and HDR format ?

I am trying to get OpenEXR working with GFL SDK 3.40, and have copied the IlmImf.dll plugin to the plugins folder but it's not working. I also tried with XnView (ie. copying the same dll to the XnVioew plugins folder), but it doesn't seem to pick it up - it picks up most of the others OK. Is this a ...

Re: XnView.db always created, even if thumbs cache db disabl

I prefer to use XnView in portable mode (ie. by having xnview.ini) in the program folder. Even with this, XnViewMP 0.35 still puts files in my C:\Users folder. When using an .ini file, I would prefer it if all files were created in/under the location of the xnview.exe program folder. This would also...

XnView.db always created, even if thumbs cache db disabled

Why does XnViewMP put the file XnView.db in the folder, C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP, even when thumbnail caching is disabled ?

Can this be fixed in a future version, so the file is only created if thumbnail caching is disabled ?

Huge thumbnails, instant high quality redraw, + thumnail siz

The MP version only supports thumbnails up to 1024x1024. Can you bring back huge thumbnails support of 2048x2048, as in the original XnView. Maybe have a checkbox next to thumbnail slider, so huge thumbnails support can be enabled/disabled easily. Can you display a tooltip when the thumbnail slider ...

Re: Access violation with gflLoadBitmapFromHandle() and IStream

Sorry for the delay of my reply... No problem. I know you are busy with XnViewMP. Do you have always the problem with IStream?? I only get the crash when using an IStream but, as mentioned, the crash doesn't always occur, so it must depend on where in the load operation the abort takes place. Durin...
